The Equine Laundry was started by Barrie and Denise North in April 2000 and has become the premier horse rug cleaning service in the North West Midlands covering Cheshire, South Merseyside, Staffordshire, Shropshire, The West Midlands and adjacent parts of Wales. In the past eight years we seem to have aquired a number of imitators which they say is the sincerest form of flattery, so they must think we are doing something right.
Our logo featuring the washer horse, designed by local artist Lesley Bruce of Jude Too fame can be seen all over the region on our delivery vans.
We are a family business located in a rambling Victorian farmhouse in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. Living with us we have two horses, four Shetland ponies, six dogs and two cats.
Our horse rug laundry business processes nearly 10,000 horse rugs a year and we like to think that we know the various brands and the value for money that they offer pretty well. We have two sister companies, The Equine Tailor which features the pick of the horse rugs available and rider wear and Dog Togs looks after the requirements of our canine friends with a range of distinctive outdoor and indoor wear for the country dog.
